Putrajaya Urban Adventure Challenge 2012 (“PUAC 2012”) with the theme “Are you fast enough?” is a form of adventure sports race which required the team cooperation. Few disciplines need to be completed by each team. All disciplines has been specified to test the actual ability of the participants in terms of fitness and mental strength and indirectly will test the level of cooperation of each team.
PUAC 2012 is a first ever adventure race to be held in Putrajaya. PUAC 2012 will be flag-off at Taman Putra Perdana Putrajaya and will go through some checkpoint areas that has been provided. The checkpoint areas involved are the recreational parks that were developed by Putrajaya Corporation. With collaboration with Putrajaya Corporation, PUAC 2012 indirectly will introduce the recreational parks around Putrajaya to the participants around the country and introduce Putrajaya as the most suitable city for recreational activity.
Among the main objectives PUAC 2012 is to produce healthy citizens in the local community with fitness activities towards creating a vibrant and healthy community. In addition. PUAC 2012 also enhances the spirit of sportsmanship and goodwill among those organization, government departments/agencies and private sectors involved as well as unearth new talent fpr adventure race like this.
